Brianna and James - Wedding September 10, 2022
Lake Valhalla Club in Montville, NJ.

How did you meet?  Brianna and James met in 2014 while working together. Brianna didn't even know Jame's name until the day they started dating in 2015.

Where was your first date? Moes and Yougurtini and walked around TJ Maxx and Home Goods.

What is your favorite thing to do together?  Travel to different spots around New Jersey, as well as different nature and historic sites. Williamsburg, VA and the Jersey Shore are our favorite spots.

When did you know he/she was the one?  We both knew pretty early on. We starting talking seriously about marriage when Brianna was taking the LSAT and applying to law school in late 2016.

How did he propose?  He didn't. LOL We were out celebrating Brianna's law school admittance at California Pizza Kitchen. We walked into a jewelry store to just look. Brianna found a ring she liked and the next thing James knew was he walked out engaged and with a jewelry store credit card.

Are there any important items you would like to add?    Our wedding was very special to us for a multitude of reasons. Our date is probably the most important reason why it was special. James' parents got married on 9/11 and Brianna's parents got married on 9/12, so we knew that we wanted to get married on 9/10 or 9/13 so that we could celebrate our anniversaries alongside our parents' anniversaries.  Also, our bridal party was "flipped" - James had all the girls on his side and Brianna had all the boys on her side. Brianna also had a "flower grandma."  We also had parts of our loved ones who passed at our wedding. James had a piece of his mom's shirt in his tux, as well as a picture of her attached to his boutonniere. Brianna had two pieces of her grandpa's flannel sewn into her dress and had pictures of her grandpa, her Aunt Cyndy, and her "Grandma G" attached to her bouquet to remember the three people who she wished could've been at the wedding. We also had no real flowers at the wedding- everything was either silk or Sola Wood Flowers- not only was it more environmentally friendly, but we got to keep a lot of the decor and use it around our home so we have a constant memory of our wedding.
